I Bought a Canon 7D

AND I LOVE IT! The 7D is great in low light situations like portraits in a house for fun and night shots. The camera is overall much faster than my old XTi with it being 8fps and a newer and faster processor. I have been experimenting with a neutral density filter as well on my Canon 17-40mm f4L lens. Below is an amazing pic I took using it. You can see the full size on flickr. It was taken at f22 and ISO 100, you can see that there is a little bit of noise though so I am trying to figure out why. But enjoy the new pictures as I enjoy my new camera!

New Photos Posted!

2010Feb14_CALI2_0355New photos have been posted in the PHOTOS section of my friend Cali Powell. You may remember here from a photoshoot that I did back in the summer. Well I was looking to try out a new lens (The canon 85mm f1.2L – beautiful lens) and also wanted to do some outdoor winter shots! Cali was more than willing to do so!

So we had Cali’s makeup done at MAC in the Bay they did a wonderful job! Then headed downtown to shoot!
